Susanna Wolk is a New York based director. She currently serves as the Associate Director for the Tony Nominated musical & Juliet. Prior to that, Susanna was the Tour Director for the North American Tour of the hit Broadway musical Waitress. She is most passionate about developing new plays and musicals. Recent directing work also includes Jessy Tomsko’s In Emily’s Words at the Wharton Center, the ongoing development of Justine Gelfman’s In Sisters We Trust, or My Fucked Up American Girl Doll Play (DVRF Playwrights Program winner), Jenny Waxman and Ben Page’s Leaving Eden (NYMF, winner Best Musical), the short film A New Chapter (Chelsea Film Festival, International Black Film Festival, etc.).

Susanna has worked extensively on and off Broadway as an associate / assistant director; credits include the Tony nominated Broadway productions of Choir Boy, Lobby Hero, Waitress, Significant Other, and Finding Neverland.

Her work as a director has been seen at Williamstown Theatre Festival, New York Fringe Festival, 54 Below, Access Theatre, the PIT, Dixon Place, Theatre Row, The Flea, Club OBERON, 13th St. Repertory Theater, A.R.T.’s Loeb Mainstage, and more. She is a former Manhattan Theatre Club Directing Fellow, Access Theater Resident Artist and has worked on productions at Playwrights Horizons, Second Stage, MTC, Atlantic Theater Company, A.R.T., Williamstown, the Geffen, and more.
